Over the course of his ski career Justin has proved himself as one of the most iconic halfpipe skiers of this era. His results, media exposure, and public display of affection for sushi have developed the reputation he embodies today.
For the past 6 years Justin has been at the forefront of Freeskiing, pushing the boundaries of what people have thought possible in the halfpipe. His accomplishments in the sport extend further than just competition results; they include a number of record high scores, the invention of numerous tricks including the switch double cork 1080, and the reputation of a crowd favorite. Justin’s passion for skiing coupled with his focused work ethic have been the key factors in his success’ thus far and will continue to push him to compete at the highest level in sport next year... the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi Russia.
Justin’s media coverage ranges from major North American newspapers and TV/Web networks like ESPN, NBC, CBC, TSN, MTV and The Globe and Mail, all the way to international networks in the other countries he’s competing in. This coverage has been substantial over the years past but is only expected to increase during his journey to the Olympic Games next year.
